About Pete Campie, LMFT, C-DBT

It’s hard to keep it together, right? Between responsibilities related to work, kids, and relationships, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and under-resourced. Talking about it can be a good first step in marshaling your resources to overcome challenges that make it hard to stay focused on what matters.

Whether it’s issues with a partner, stresses over parenting kids, stepkids, or grandkids, or simply feeling stuck in finding the next step in your story that brings you in, I’d be honored to hear it. We’ll talk about how emotions, systems from our families to the larger culture, and our own understanding of who we are and what we mean can affect our experience.

I bring a lively, empathetic approach to sessions and focus on helping you find strategies to move forward while taking stock of where you’ve been – I use primarily narrative, experiential therapy methods and am certified to use dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I know therapy can be intimidating, especially if it’s a new experience, so we’ll work at your pace and focus on what you see as being important. I see individuals and couples for early morning and daytime appointments. LGBT+ affirming, non-traditional relationship friendly.
